I am tired of fear based astrology. Astrology is meant to help us in positive ways. If I read one more report telling me desperately not to do 101 things during mercury retrograde or moon void of course I’m going to puke. Mercury retrograde used to come with a general warning that it’s not the best time to sign contracts or buy electronics. Now it is screamed at you to DO NOT do these things and more. The result if you do, according to them, is obviously that the sky will fall. Of course it is all fear mongering and it is time to put an end to the bad rap that mercury retrograde gets.

Do people have mechanical and electronic troubles during mercury retrograde, sure they do, however, it is the person that is in question, not the retrograde. When mercury retrogrades it asks us to slow down and look within. We need to look at our thought patterns as mercury rules mental activity. It can be the most wonderful time of the year if you can allow yourself to acquiesce to mercury’s unique gifts. No greater time exists for meditation, healing and inner work. Mercury’s retrograde movement quiets the worldly noise and offers us solitude. It is only when you refuse to give in to mercury and the beauty it offers that you come into problems that stem from resistance. Now certainly the majority of western society does not acquiesce to mercury, leaving us somewhat at the mercy of those in resistance. Longer lines and less patience are common. Parking lot accidents from people not being able to focus is another common thing to be careful of. When you are in alignment with the call of mercury however you simply notice these things occurring around you, but they have no effect on you what so ever.

When you have learned to give yourself over to mercury retrograde three times a year you come to look forward to it. You know you will be able to access information long buried from this life or others. That you will be able to surface issues quickly and efficiently and ascertain their root core and bring healing to them. That your ability to communicate with spirit is enhanced as those in resistance experience communication snafus in the outer world. When you have mastered the use of mercury retrograde for it’s true purpose, growth and healing, you would no longer hesitate to buy electronics or deal with mechanical issues because these things would be in harmony with your energy as you have harmonized with mercury’s influence. The same becomes true of contracts, is the contract something that you want to be in harmony with your true spirit? If so mercury retrograde is the ideal time, the question to ask is whether the person with whom you make the contract is in harmony with mercury as well. When you have come to love the solitude and growth of these periods of retrograde you may find it the best time to buy a house. The reason being is that your choice of a house during that time would be a house that is in harmony with you and the solitude you would like to bring forth from mercury retrograde into the time when mercury is direct. The energy of the house would be one that would support your communication with your inner self and with spirit and with mercury direct in this place all your worldly communications would be supported as well.

When Mercury is retrograde it helps us to find what is in harmony with our soul, as opposed to just something our mind thinks it would like to do. If you are considering a new project, a new career, business, or taking a relationship to the next level, but are not sure, wait for mercury to retrograde and see how you feel about the issue at hand. If during retrograde you feel muddled, confused or opposed to the project, trust that information and do not pursue the issue. That is Mercury’s gift to you. You can be like the majority of the world and ignore mercury’s gift, fear these retrogrades and wonder why you don’t have what you want, but mercury says to you “do you really know what you want? Come into yourself through me and I will show you the truth, beyond the mental activity, when I am retrograde you will see your true heart, instead of just all your busy thoughts.”

Sharon's Take - May 2009

Welcome to May... I actually feel as though spring has arrived! Perhaps it was the beautiful drive up to the Okanagan for The Spring Festival of Awareness, and/or the sunshine and time in the garden to play with dirt and plants, and bugs and.... all the weaves of Gaia. Anyway... it was a beautiful time and wonderful festival, I enjoyed the workshops I attended and presented and had a healing session on my hip with a wonderful healer from Kamloops (send me an email if you are in that area and want a treatment...I can't find his card at this exact moment), I was amazed at how much less pain I had and my movement has increased...simply wonderful.

May should bring us some interesting energy. The photon levels are in the 6's and the 7's, 5 is where you find the most balance. As the photon levels go up, we find that our manifestation time of our thoughts and focus shortens... therefore during these time, focus your thoughts strongly on what YOU want to create, keep your thoughts and ideas focused on your desires and optimistic. Oftentimes when the levels are going up people focus on their fears, there is tons of fear stuff surrounding the news and talk at the water cooler... try to avoid these things, read and listen to things that uplift and feed your soul... take some meditation and awareness workshops. Surround yourself with positive people and things. Mercury is Retrograde from the 7th to the 30th, so it is a prefect time to do the spring cleaning in all the realms, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Clean the closets, do a cleanse, spend more time walking in nature, surrender, release and forgive any unfinished thoughts, feelings and emotions... this is the perfect time. Meditate, meditate, meditate, spend time with your entourage of guides and angels, they are there to assist you on this journey, take time to play... swing in the park, run in the wind and fly...like you did as a child... and reward yourself... This balance of giving and receiving is essential to keeping your energy, mood, and motivation at a consistently high level.

Enjoy the beauty and the love of them moment that you find yourself in, when you align yourself with who you truly are, you inspire others. Be powerful! Be magnificent! This is who you truly are!

Special Earth Day Message

Dear Family of Gaia,

Take a moment and notice that there is beauty around you and within you. That is cause enough for celebration. All of the kingdoms of the earth, including humanity, are undergoing great change at this time. That too, is cause for celebration.

The general thought, both conscious and unconscious, traveling through the 'mind of man' at this time is that there is little cause for celebration. Perhaps you will forgive an argument on a day that carries my namesakes, but this is untrue!

The earth celebrates every day in every way and demonstrates this to you so that you will find cause to do the same. Do not allow yourselves to imagine that a changing earth is tantamount to a distress call. Change is the ongoing process of transformation and its acceleration is also cause for celebration even if it takes a form that is unfamiliar to you.

A pause between the inbreath and the outbreath will move your thoughts inward. As you do this notice how far you have come and how much you have grown, perhaps in a very short time. Notice that all of your experiences, both positive and negative, have encouraged you to know yourself and to experience life more fully. The same is true for the earth, and as Gaia sentience I am more aware now than ever before.

Do not struggle against change. Be an advocate for conscious evolution in all things, including thoughts. Unfamiliar moments bring new friends and family forward, another cause for celebration. Do not stir the waters to bring back what is going or gone when you make them (and yourself) still long enough to recognize the new that is already on the horizon.

Celebrate this day on Earth as I do, a day delivered unto itself to be lived in fullness, complete and whole in every way. And know that any day that you name and dedicate to yourself will be one in which Gaia is also in celebration.

Sharon's Take - April 2009

It seems that it has been taking me longer to get anything done this month, and I am late posting my newsletter. However on so many other levels things have been moving ahead.

Many of us are experiencing some interesting spiritual growth over the last little while, therefore are experience many different shift symptoms. If you are experience a physical 'catch up' at this time, remember to eat well, drink tons of water and meditate, meditate, meditate...and oh yeah... you came down to earth with an entourage of guides and angels... enlist working with them daily, they are here to assist you in experiencing this human journey.

April brings The Spring Festival of Awareness in Naramata BC (outside of Penticton). This is a wonderful event filled with over 50 workshops, sunrise ceremonies, friendships, Healing Oasis and more... there is still time to join in this wonderful event...check out www.issuesmagazine.net
I am looking forward to spending a weekend surrounded by love and healing.

Sharon's Take - March 2009

To spice things up...I decided to do a Lemurian Oracle Card Reading for the month of March...

Many of us will continue our path of personal and spiritual growth as the energy leads to wards the Spring Equinox (March 21st ish). Many of us will continue to reflect on our past life - looking at the choices we have made, did we do them for all the right reasons? Was this my career choice, or did I do what others expected of me? Am I happy with my life? How can I make this life I have now happy?

Many are needing to move from areas of personal bondage, issues of control and begin living our lives with the freedom of choice. As time passes each of us will continue to release and process energy, old thoughts and ideas which no longer serve us. If you are not releasing and transforming, you probably are not having a particularly fun time. The Mental energy around many of us will be transforming as the dreams of change that many of us have been longing for will begin to manifest within the mass consciousness, as people begin to transition into living their lives with truth, trust and passion.

Huge spiritual growth is happening and available for so many that a time of pause and observation will be paramount as our spirit selves emerging require the catch up of our physical selves. Treat yourself to some much needed energy healing work to assist with the physical shifts, drink plenty of water and meditate, meditate,
meditate.

The photon energy is in the low range most of the month...concentrate on the thoughts you want to create...hold thoughts of love and peace and enjoy the solar wave of the Equinox.

I am off for a vacation this month, back to the healing temples of Lemuria... I shall be making my first visit to Kauai and am looking forward to recording some meditations inspired by the land, ocean, whales and dolphins.... Enjoy!

Greetings my beloved dear ones – We the collective consciousness of the Group of twelve share with you this day that you are dearly loved – Take a moment now and allow for this love to pour over you....

You asked of life purpose- of missions of “What is your Point!” and we love you so for asking this, as it shows you are ready for more...that you are ready to see the grander picture of things to come...

You each have goals, contracts, missions and you love to put everything into neat little categories and rationalize things, and that is so beautiful and part of being a physical human and we tell you now that that is you goal – you purpose....
To be a human
To come into a physical vessel

To bring an aspect of your spirit self into a physical vessel and experience a finite journey and on this journey remember your true magnificence. Recognize your Spirit Self, that part of you that is still connect with you and the limitless, timelessness of all that is-your Divine Creator Energy which we all are a part of. And those that you meet on this physical Earth journey are your brothers and sisters of Light who have agreed to come and play with you and help you remember this connection in a variety of creative ways that only the two of you could have possible thought up to make your time here far more interesting.
When you are not here, you love to feel these very emotions you so love deny, It is so beautiful...feel them...enjoy them...feel them... remember the joy....always remember a joyful moment.
And so we share with you this day to start the Adventure of BEING YOU NOW this very day. Consciously choose to move into a more joyful state, a more loving way. What adventures can you create for yourself and your entourage of spirit beings who are here with you this day? We are hear to bring in more of what you ask for into your life...we listen...do you?
Your mission, should you choose to accept it is...simply to be Happy!
Do what brings you joy. Find what brings you joy, and as you become more joyful, others will look at your brilliance and ask you how you became so bright...and you will share your transformation of becoming the real you and like the pebble in the brook, the ripple that you are will spread and create a light so bright it will assist others in their own transformation...and your ever changing purpose and missions will find you....as they are not static...there is not one and they evolve just as you do...
And once again...we Thank you for this opportunity to share the Wisdom of the Light and to you for seeking more... Trust in the answers within your own heart – for each one of you is connected to this wealth of energy also.
Once again... we ask that you allow us a moment to feel our love for each one of you within your beingness and surrounding you...and we thank you for this moment in your time...we shower you with our blessings as you create your adventures.
