A Goddess Reading

Here is a goddess reading that one of my clients said it was okay to share it... thank you Sarah

Your 3 goddesses that would like to work with you at this time are Kali, Abundantia and Sige. Each brings a message that should guide you at this time. It is important for you to take quiet time and contemplate what is happening or bothering you at this time. Ensure that you are keeping your regular meditation practice as this brings you much grounding and clarity at this time of transformation. Be sure that you complete and release people, situations and relationships that don’t serve you at this time. Be honest with yourself and trust your hearts desire to manifest in your life. Keep focused and keep moving. There is an abundant supply of all things available to you and everyone and remember that there is enough for everyone. You have been going through some big challenges and once this time has been mastered you will indeed know how truly powerful you are.

KALI

Endings and Beginnings
The old must be released so that the new can enter.
"I sing praises to those whose hearts accept the universal order, which only appears to be chaotic and ever-changing. In actuality, everything is designed down to the smallest detail, to be in perfect operation. The dance of the universe is a happy one, with energy swirling and twirling in a never-ending celebration to life itself. Join this dance, dear one, and enjoy the remarkable journey of the weaving of the story of your life. Do not fear what appears to be a change or a loss. It's only the transitioning orbit of energy interplaying with you and your loved ones. Embrace it as evidence that you're alive! Embrace your deepest emotions as a signal of your true human essence!"

About Kali: This ultra-powerful Hindu goddess is feared by those who don't understand the natural cycles of birth, death, and rebirth. Kali is the embodiment of Mother Nature, who cleanses away the old with natural storms and fires to make the ground fertile for new crops and life. Kali is the ultimate get-things-done goddess, and she's a powerful ally to those who call upon her. Like a wise stage mother, she'll push you beyond your comfort zone to reach the heights of your potential.
ABUNDANTIA ~ Prosperity

The Universe is pouring its abundance out to you. Be open to receiving. Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. You are very powerful, and I am here to support your growing power. It’s right for you to receive this help, as we function as a team. I’ve heard your prayers, worries, and affirmations. I’m pouring my cornucopia of prosperity upon you now, so expect unforeseen windfalls and gifts. Notice the new ideas, feelings, and visions within you. This guidance gives you clear direction about actions to take in conjunction with my assistance. Together, we’re unstoppable!

"I am a way-shower to the mighty Source of All"

"It is my greatest pleasure to reward your efforts, and I become ecstatic at the sound of gratitude and joy when someone is rescued through my interventions. I am here to serve, to help you plan for uninterrupted financial bliss, and to uncover hidden treasures that you do not yet know of."

Abundantia: Abundantia is a beautiful Roman and Norse goddess of prosperity, success and abundance who is said to bring good fortune and financial windfalls to all who call upon her. She carries a cornucopia of golden coins, which trail behind her wherever she goes. One sign that she’s with you is that you’ll find lots of spare change in unlikely locations. And rest assured that Abundantia brings more than pocket money to those who call upon her. She bestows all kinds of prosperity, including increased amounts of time, ideas and other forms of support.  A beautiful goddess of success, prosperity, abundance, and good fortune, Abundantia is also considered to be a protector of savings, investments, and wealth. Her image graced Roman coins in centuries past.

In Roman mythology, Abundantia brought money and grain to people while they were sleeping; shaking her gifts from the cornucopia she continuously carried.

In Norse mythology, she was called Fulla, the first and favourite attendant of Frigg (the Norse goddess of the atmosphere and clouds). Fulla carried Friggs valuables for her, and also acted as her intermediary, performing favours for mortals who called upon the goddess for help.

She's a vision of great beauty and angelic purity, very patient and extremely loving. Call upon her to keep the flow of riches in your life.
SIGE

Quiet time
Take some quiet time alone to rest, meditate, and contemplate

"Shhh, dearest one. Quiet your mind. Breathe and let go of words, worry, and plans. Go into that space of silence deep within you, that vortex of peace where the world doesn't enter. Now is the time to retreat in silence and spend time alone. I'll lovingly help you rejuvenate and recenter yourself. Don't try to make any decisions now. Just allow your mind to be at rest. You'll know soon enough when it's time to take action. But for now, quiet your mind, Rest."

Working Sige (seej):
The Gnostic goddess Sige is considered to be the great silence or void from which all creation sprang. Sige reminds us that words crate duality, and that in silence, we find our true origin and self. Quiet is omnipresent power that gives birth to wisdom, just as the Gnostics hold that Sige is the mother of Sophia, the goddess of wisdom. Sige teaches that our roots are in the silent void of the universe, and that it's important for us to reconnect with silence regularly.

You have been going through enormous change, and although you can’t always feel or see it, these changes are great blessings. Look for the gift within each situation that brings you challenges as these are thoughts, feelings and ideas that are ending because you no longer need to be carrying them around. Be patient and gentle with yourself as you wade through the murky waters... as you will understand the bigger picture as you awaken on the other side of everything that currently feels unpleasant. We know there are times you want to just give up and walk away however so many will be helped by everything you are currently experiencing. Stay strong. You are not alone, even if it feels like that at times. You are a channel of divine healing energy and from this experience you will emerge with a spiritual practice that will help many. Hang in there and trust in yourself.  Use the healing energy of Mother Nature and grounding with the earth energy to help you at this time. Much of what you are experiencing is about the earth journey and not so much about spiritual ascension. Ground yourself anytime you are dealing with non-magical people, this will assist you greatly.

There are some important doors that are opening up for you right now. Keep your unwavering thoughts, feelings, and actions focused on what you want to accomplish at this time. Focused intention and affirmations are powerful tools for you to use in creating the life you want for yourself. Set a plan and stick to it (not a time table). Visualize daily what your life looks and feels like when you reach those goals. Trust in the divine timing of all things and that you are worthy and deserving. This most often is the greatest challenge in deliberate creating. This is the perfect time for you to start new projects (or course, be sure to finish the old ones first). New ideas and situations are coming your way through the vibrational energy that you have been sending out. Keep sending out rockets of desire that match your plans.

Allow yourself to receive. This will increase your intuition, energy and ability to give to others. It is important to make sure that your cups are all full and then you have more to give to others and not feel overwhelmed. Being such a sensitive, compassionate and empathic person often means that you forget to take care of yourself. You are so much more useful to the universe when you are feeling healthy and rejuvenated. Let others find their way as well. You can’t fix everyone (for they would not experience the life lessons they came here to experience if they don’t find their own way). Keep your light shinning and bright and let them come to you when they are ready to ask for assistance. Just as your guides and angels are governed by free will, help only those who ask for assistance. Be peaceful and serene. There is no need to worry, as everything is working out even more beautifully that we could have imagined for you. Trust. There is great love coming your way. You share you love so beautifully with others, open up to receiving it for yourself. It is time to let down the barriers to your heart. It is safe in your hands.
Take a risk and put your hearts true desire into action. This is the perfect time to move forward and delegate responsibility to all those involved. Don’t do everything yourself. You don’t need to be alone. Let others do their part and ask others to help you along the way. Your household situations are improving and change is afoot, either through a move or healthy change that provides you with a safer, more balanced situation.
Remember, you are truly just getting started, even though you feel you have been doing this for so very long, you have only just begun. Be patient with yourself and the process. And don’t give up...you are so needed on the earth plane at this time. It is no accident that you are here. When you feel like you want to give up, remember that you have spent many lifetimes leading up this very moment. And even if it doesn’t feel like it... your presences is vitally important to these shifting times.

Eckhart on the Dark Night of the Soul

I thought this might help out a few people...xoxox Sharon

Eckhart on the Dark Night of the Soul

Have you ever experienced the dark night of the soul?
Your teachings have been so helpful through this difficult period.
Can you address this subject?

The “dark night of the soul” is a term that goes back a long time.  Yes, I have also experienced it.  It is a term used to describe what one could call a collapse of a perceived meaning in life…an eruption into your life of a deep sense of meaninglessness.  The inner state in some cases is very close to what is conventionally called depression.  Nothing makes sense anymore, there’s no purpose to anything.  Sometimes it’s triggered by some external event, some disaster perhaps, on an external level.  The death of someone close to you could trigger it, especially premature death, for example if your child dies.  Or you had built up your life, and given it meaning – and the meaning that you had given your life, your activities, your achievements, where you are going, what is considered important, and the meaning that you had given your life for some reason collapses.

It can happen if something happens that you can’t explain away anymore, some disaster which seems to invalidate the meaning that your life had before.  Really what has collapsed then is the whole conceptual framework for your life, the meaning that your mind had given it.  So that results in a dark place.  But people have gone into that, and then there is the possibility that you emerge out of that into a transformed state of consciousness.  Life has meaning again, but it’s no longer a conceptual meaning that you can necessarily explain.  Quite often it’s from there that people awaken out of their conceptual sense of reality, which has collapsed.

They awaken into something deeper, which is no longer based on concepts in your mind.  A deeper sense of purpose or connectedness with a greater life that is not dependent on explanations or anything conceptual any longer.  It’s a kind of re-birth.  The dark night of the soul is a kind of death that you die.  What dies is the egoic sense of self.  Of course, death is always painful, but nothing real has actually died there – only an illusory identity.  Now it is probably the case that some people who’ve gone through this transformation realized that they had to go through that, in order to bring about a spiritual awakening.  Often it is part of the awakening process, the death of the old self and the birth of the true self.

The first lesson in A Course in Miracles says “Nothing I see in this room means anything”, and you’re supposed to look around the room at whatever you happen to be looking at, and you say “this doesn’t mean anything”, “that doesn’t mean anything”.   What is the purpose of a lesson like that?  It’s a little bit like re-creating what can happen during the dark night of the soul.  It’s the collapse of a mind-made meaning, conceptual meaning, of life… believing that you understand “what it’s all about”.  With A Course in Miracles, it’s a voluntary relinquishment of the human mind-made meaning that is projected, and you go voluntary into saying “I don’t know what this means”, “this doesn’t mean anything”.  You wipe the board clean.  In the dark night of the soul it collapses.

You are meant to arrive at a place of conceptual meaninglessness.  Or one could say a state of ignorance – where things lose the meaning that you had given them, which was all conditioned and cultural and so on.  Then you can look upon the world without imposing a mind-made framework of meaning.  It looks of course as if you no longer understand anything.  That’s why it’s so scary when it happens to you, instead of you actually consciously embracing it.  It can bring about the dark night of the soul – to go around the Universe without any longer interpreting it compulsively, as an innocent presence.  You look upon events, people, and so on with a deep sense of aliveness.  Your sense the aliveness through your own sense of aliveness, but you are not trying to fit your experience into a conceptual framework anymore.

Sharon's Take ~ September 2011 Completions

Completions, completions! After years of doing birthday numerology during readings, I only recently discovered that I had a "9" in my birth chart and low and behold, I now understand this pile of in-completions that just don't seem to go away.... So, I am determined this month that I will continue my purging and finishing off of the things and projects that are waiting for me.

During a 9 month we usually finish things off. It is time to clean out the gardens and finish off the last harvest until spring. Prepare and plant things you want to bloom in the springtime etc. Since next month is a creator month, it is ideal if we can finish off those things which need to be completed so we can bring in the old. Look at what is happening in your live. If you are feeling particularly stuck in an area which should be flowing, now is the perfect time to look deeper as this usually signifies an in-completion that we think we are done with (if something immediately comes to mine, you have probably hit the proverbial nail on the head, for it is usually the first thing we think of that is our biggest obstacle).  So let us get rid of the old so we can make way for the new that is wanting to come in.

Septembers energy should be fairly balanced for most. There is plenty of opportunities and action available to those who take up the gauntlet and charge forward. There is some nervousness about the changes that are taking place which are unnecessary detours along the way, however never the wrong path. There is no one perfect path for each of us to take, and there are no wrong ones either (we might be asking ourselves why on earth we chose the current one), however they are neither right or wrong. Some are just longer than others. This gives us opportunity to look back and see if we are heading where we want to go. Take that time so you are moving forward with clarity. If you are unsure where you want to go or what you want to do, your guides and angels feel the vibration of that 'ho-hum' attitude and that is what comes back your way. We are used to the pendulum swinging too and fro and that is okay also, however we can have more balance and joy if we choose also.

It is possible to be living the life that you desire. Look at and visualize often how it feels to be living that life. And living with grace, compassion and love. Celebrate each day like you would were you there, as if it is the last one you have to live and regardless whether you feel you are really there, begin it now. Even for small moments, for these will grow into bigger moments. Trust that you have the skills necessary to face whatever the day brings to you and that you are supported by a wonderful groups of light, both physical and non-physical. Trust your Divine inner guidance, that beautiful magi energy that dwells within each of you and take chances. Experience some growth that takes you out of your comfort zone and allows you to expand. And, enjoy where you are and the beauty that surrounds, look deep if you need to, however keep looking until you have found something to celebrate and glow from there.

Take the time to plant the seeds that you want to bloom and grow and tend to over the next few months. This is an opportunity to make the changes you have been asking for. Trust that you make your decisions wisely, especially if you ask the wise counsel that is a part of your experience. Make your decisions from that still, quiet center and know that you are going to enjoy the fruits of your labour very soon. Take on only that which brings you joy as you place yourself in service and also remember to let others do their part as well, for it is important for their growth as well. Tackle only projects and activities that you do in LOVE and if you feel you must do it, look for the love of what it brings to you until you can love where you are.

Chief Dan George

"If you talk to the animals they will talk with you and you will know each other. If you do not talk to them you will not know them, and what you do not know you will fear. What one fears on destroys." Chief Dan George

Chief Dan George was iconic on Canadian Television in the 60's and 70's. For me, he bridged a gap in the understanding between aboriginal and non-natives that has been unprecedented. His credits and my first memory of him is from the CBC TV show - Cariboo County as old Antoine. I remember feeling his immense energy and fell in love with the culture of his people through him. I had past life memories of being one with the land that he helped awaken.

I loved watching 'The Breaking of Smiths Quarter horse' in school as a child, and the wisdom that Chief Dan George shared with the people of British Columbia. He spoke with such a genuine and calming demeanor and shared such basic wisdom. He was not caught up in the drama of being a 'star' and remained in the same little house on the reserve where he was born that he built for his wife and six children. He became Chief Dan George in 1951 when he took over as chief of the Burrard band from his father. He continued in that role until 1963, when his acting career began. Chief Dan George was made honorary chief of two other bands, the Squamish and Shuswap.

He left us with such gifts and wisdom. I am unsure what other cultures know about this great man who came to share with me during my meditation that I felt the urge to write about him and share him with others.

His Early years

(from Wikipedia)
Born as Geswanouth Slahoot in North Vancouver,[1] his English name was originally Dan Slaholt. The surname was changed to George when he entered a residential at age 5.[1] He worked at a number of different jobs, including as a longshoremen, construction worker, and school bus driver,[2] and was band chief of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation from 1951 to 1963 (then called the Burrard Indian Band).[3]

  Acting career

In 1960, when he was already 60 years old, he landed his first acting job in a CBC Television series, Cariboo Country, as the character, Ol' Antoine (pron. "Antwine"). He performed the same role in a  Walt Disney Studious movie, Smith! , adapted from an episode in this series (based on Breaking Smith's Quarter Horse, a novella by Paul St. Pierre) . At age 71, he won several awards for his role in the film Little Big Man. He received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.[2][4] He did a hilarious turn as Clint Eastwood's bumbling traveling companion in "The Outlaw Josey Wales" (1976).  Harry and Tonto, and Americathon, and on television, including a role in the miniseries Centennial, based on the book by James A. Michener, as well as appearing in a 1973 episode of the original Kung Fu series.[5]
He played the role of Rita Joe's father in George Ryga's stage play, The Ecstasy of Rita Joe, in performances at Vancouver, the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, and Washington, D.C..
During his acting career, he worked to promote better understanding by non-aboriginals of the First Nations people. His soliloquy, Lament for Confederation,[6] an indictment of the appropriation of native territory by white colonialism, was performed at the City of Vancouver's celebration of the Canadian centennial in 1967.[7] This speech is credited with escalating native political activism in Canada, as well as touching off widespread pro-native sentiment among non-natives.[7]
In 1971, Chief Dan George was made an Officer of the Order of Canada.[8] In 2008 Canada Post issued a postage stamp in its "Canadians in Hollywood" series featuring Chief Dan George.[9]
He died in Vancouver in 1981 at the age of 82. He was interred at Burrard Cemetery.[10]

  Cultural references

Dan George's B.C. Entertainment Hall of Fame star on Granville Street, Vancouver, BC
He was included on the famous Golden Rule Poster under "Native Spirituality" with the quote: "We are as much alive as we keep the earth alive".[11

The beauty of the trees,
the softness of the air,
the fragrance of the grass,
speaks to me.

The summit of the mountain,
the thunder of the sky,
the rhythm of the sea,
speaks to me.

The strength of the fire,
the taste of salmon,
the trail of the sun,
and the life that never goes away,
they speak to me.

And my heart soars.
Chief Dan George

"May the stars carry your sadness away,
May the flowers fill your heart with beauty,
May hope forever wipe away your tears,
And, above all, may silence make you strong."

- Chief Dan George
